Designed for studio and post-production, the JVC DT-N24F ProHD 23.8" Broadcast Studio LCD Monitor has a wide array of inputs, and essential professional features. The IPS LCD panel itself has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and an LED backlight with a brightness of 250 cdm².
Video signals from analog or digital SD all the way up to 2K over SDI are supported. SDI, HDMI, VGA, component, and composite inputs are available for sources, while SDI, HDMI, and composite inputs all feature loop outputs to feed production equipments down the line. Professional image analysis features include waveform, vectorscope, tally, zebras, peaking, false color, and more. For portable power, secure a Gold mount battery on the integrated Gold mount plate. A power cord and stand feet are included.
Supports 3G/HD/SD-SDI
Supports up to 3G-SDI (SMPTE 425M) including Level-A and Level-B, which are capable of transferring 1080p uncompressed digital video data at a max rate of 60 fps. 2K-SDI (2048 x 1080p) is also supported with down-sampling to fit the full-HD display.
ITU-709 Color Space with Selectable Gamma Presets
Compatible with ITU-709 standard color space for HDTV broadcasting. Gamma presets of 2.2, 2.4 and 2.6 are selectable.
TSL UMD Control and Display
This monitor supports UMD controlling input via RS485 and RS232 port, compatible with TSL 3.1 and 4.0 UMD protocol.
USB Firmware Upgradable
Offers a USB port on the rear side for monitor firmware upgrade. Users can download firmware from the official website to a USB stick, and the upgrade operation is directly on the monitor, without PC or other adapters.
Built-In Waveform Monitor
Waveform monitoring can be done for individual color channels (Y, Cb, Cr, R, G, B). The waveform itself can be positioned on one of four corners or in the center in a larger size. Waveform display color can be selected from white, green and false color, with the opacity also selectable.
Built-In Vectorscope and Histogram Monitor
Vectorscope and R/G/B/Y histogram display are available. The vectorscope colors can be selected from white, green and false color, and the position of the patterns can be selected from one of four corners and the opacity is also selectable.
16-Channel Audio Level Meters
The monitor can de-embed audio from SDI and HDMI, and display 16-channel audio level meters, with audio alert info displayed on each audio bar. You can also select any 2 channels audio to output via 3.5mm headphone jack or speakers. The audio meter pattern position can be selected from one of four corners, and you can select to display only 2 channels, 8 channels, and full 16 channels. Scale markers, alert info, and opacity of the audio meter pattern are selectable.
LUT Support
Import a 17-point LUT using the USB port on the rear to color-calibrate the monitor with separately available equipment, or grade the incoming video signal. Log conversion from JVC's J-log1, ARRI's Log-C, Sony's S-log2 and S-log3, Canon's C-log, Panasonic's V-log, or RED's REDlogFilm curves to a standard REC 709 curve can be done as well.
