The BR-D3000SL is a 300 Watt COB (Chip On Board) LED lamp with an accurate colour fastness of CRI >95. The total light output is 27,000 lumens at a colour temperature of 5600K. The construction of the BR-D3000SL is robust and designed for professional use. Thanks to the cooling system with fans, the lamp stays cool even after prolonged use, without noise nuisance. The power supply is also equipped with a separate fan to dissipate the required heat. The fan in the lamp itself is almost silent, the fan in the power supply is more audible, but can be kept away by the cable length of 3.7 meters. Therefore, this set is not audible during video recording. For easy handling, the luminaire is equipped with a U-mounting bracket that can be attached to all luminaire stands with a standard spigot adapter. This robust construction offers an exact adjustment possibility. A reflector is also included and the lamp is equipped with an S bayonet connector (similar to Bowens) so that you can use many different light formers. The lamp can be remote controlled because of the 2.4 GHz connection and it can be combined with several BRESSER LED lamps (if it also offers a wireless connection). Would you like to go one step further? No problem! By working with the DMX connector, you can connect this LED lamp to an RJ11 compatible light panel (with optional connection cables), giving you even more options. The set is ideal for use in the studio, but also on site through the V-Lock battery connection. The BR-D3000SL comes as a complete set in a handy carrying case so you always have everything at hand and can go straight to work.
Explanation LEDFor many suppliers, the standard value is that 1 watt power consumption of an LED lamp can be ompared with 5 watts of a fluorescent lamp and 25 watts of a halogen lamp. This is very relative and strongly depends on the quality and type of LED technology. The light distribution of a halogen lamp also differs from that of an LED lamp, and subsequent measurements show that these reference values are usually too high. We therefore prefer to be a little careful to avoid disappointment. With Bresser LED lamps, 1W LED is about 16W halogen. A 25 Watt LED lamp is therefore comparable to a 400 Watt halogen lamp (measured at a distance of 1 meter). A great advantage of LED lamps is that they do not heat up and can therefore be used without risk over a long period of time. The average service life of an LED lamp is about 50,000 hours.
